7 random things about me...

ok... so i have been tagged...
7 random things about me...
funny... i have lots more than 7...
1. i hate twisted phone cords! i can't stand it when the cord is so twisted that you can't even move... i have even been known to untwist a cord at a store... just drives me crazy!
2. the toilet paper roll should be rolling toward you when you are getting some off... rolling off of the top!! not the bottom... i know... with kids that may not be the best route... but i don't have kids!!! unfortunately, my husband doesn't get it... so even after 5 years he is still putting the toilet paper on "wrong".
3. i have 3 brothers, but am the only child!
ok... here is the story: i have an older brother (rick jr.) that i have never met, from my dad. and 2 younger brothers, one from my dad (marcus) and one from my mom (sam). i grew up with sam and he is my brother!! i don't even think of him being a "half", cuz he is my brother! i am getting to know marcus a bit more, but it is hard since we see each other less than once a year. marcus is 19 and lives in connecticut with his mom. rick jr. is married and lives in california. i hope to meet him someday soon...
now, sam and i are very close. he lives here in utah and has made choices in his life that haven't always been very good ones. however, i love him and support him any way that i can. one day, i will share more of his story...
4. i am a pack rat... i love "stuff"... i don't always know what i am going to do with it, or where i am going to put it... but i love it...
i have inherited this trait from my mom, so i come by it naturally. i wish that i could have a small portion of ann's O.C.D. habits and had a more organized and "picked up" home... but that is something i am working on...
5. i sleep in my stomach... with my face IN the pillow... seriously, face smashed into the pillow... my hand usually in on my forehead in someway too...
6. i am addicted to my soap opera... days of our lives... love it! everyday i take a trip to salem and hang out with bo, hope, belle, shawn, sammy, lucas, marlana, and all the gang... i try to tell myself that i am not addicted... but i am ...
7. my entire life i have wanted to be a mom...
dreamed about it, thought about it, prayed about it, talked about it,
knew it would happen...
now, i am not so sure...
ok... now it is your turn... tell me one random thing about you...

i loved this one! sorry i haven't been around much. I loved learning these new things about you.

I used to be addicted to Days. For a long time!! I dont' watch it now though. I guess I just developed other addictions! lol

I am so sorry you don't have any kids yet. You did mention doing foster care right? I think so. Anyway, my brother and sister in law have tried to have kids for 11 years and can't; They started doing foster care and are now adopting a new born and a 10 month old! Very close in age but look just alike and aren't even related!

Funny how life works isn't it.

Have a great night my dear.

I suffer from secondary infertility . . . and know the whole deal . . . if you ever want to talk to someone who's been there/done that/got the teeshirt, just let me know! *HUGS*

we have never talked about foster care... i don't think that it is the best option for us...

thanks for your kind comments though!

Infertility is insanely painful. ((((Hugs)))) I went through Secondary IF after Justin in trying to get Jayden...we did fertility drugs but managed to get pregnant on an off cycle. It's absolutely painful to long for a child and not be able to have one.

Are you in my head though???? LOL Days - LOVE IT! 3 BROTHERS and only child!! Jason passed away as an infant, Eric and Denny (who has passed away) are my half brothers, so I'm an only child, LOL, techinically anyways, LOL. I'm a total pack rat and years ago I used to work in a call center and the thing that was going to drive me insane for sure was the way the phone cord at my desk would tangle!!!!

Toilet paper though, LOL, in this house we're lucky if someone puts it on the spindle! I do, but Kevin is AWFUL about even putting it on the spindle!

And well I love sleeping on my stomach, some day I'll be able to do it again! LOL But never with my face in the pillow! LOL

I told you alot about me just then, LOL.

Jennie it is great to read your blog. I'm glad I stumbled on it. Matt told me that he sees you a couple times a week at Sam's.

Hey Jennie,
I loved all the fun things about you! As you know I have all the fertility issues as well. Seriously, if you ever want to talk you can ask me anything! I'm so sorry. I know the pain. I know I have Bry, but the pain comes back sometimes. You did a great lesson on Sunday. See you on Thursday for CREPES!! YUM YUM!!

twisted phone cords....i remember you untwisting the cords at coach house at least once a week. It was funny to watch but now i have the same habit....i think it is all becuase of you. luckily most people don't have corded phones anymore so there is a lot less untwisting to do. But the bishopic in my ward is always laughing at me when i am in the clerks office printing stuff off the computer and untwisting thier phone cord.

thanks for the habit!

It's fun to learn more about you. I am big on the toilet paper thing, too. It just doesn't work as well on the bottom . . . thankfully, it only took 2 changes to get my hubby to get his act together, too.
